This one has got to be my favourite ad this year. This will seem strange as it isn’t super heavy on the VFX work but in a word it is just – GOLD. Advertising-wise, the idea is brilliant and the casting of actors is just so spot on. You are sure to giggle!

I wasn’t really across this project, so I only had one shot of the birds flying off (01:15), but I was super happy to have that as I think the commercial is so cute. The shot taught me that small birds take off incredibly fast.

All the birds are CG. The other bird and bread shots were animated by our lead Chris Rentoul and by our animator/rigger Robbie Reid. They did a fantastic job in prepping the birds using animation cycles.

Hats off to the whole team for this one!
